MAA's DASHRATHACHAL YATRA
The view from Dashrathachal: When there are no clouds, one can see the ice-covered peaks of famous places namely: Badrinath, Kedarnath etc. There are no high mountains surrounding Dashrathachal and there for one can have a near half circle view of Himalayas from the top.
There aren't any water streams on Dashrathachal except a small droplet place. Though the wildlife here has diminished, decades ago wild bears, snakes and other wild animals were part of these mountains. The primary tree on the mountain is Pine (also called 'chid' in the local language). Nobody lives permanently on Dashrathachal, however there is a place to keep cattle. The peace of the mountain can only be felt.
