Does everyone know Arunaben? She is the one that did her Ph. D. on
Prabhuji. Arunaben lives in Ahemadabad. She does anything and
everything that Maa assigns her, never saying no.
Unfortunately Arunaben lost her mother. Baa was suffering from several
illnesses, but still maintained a strong front. She wasn’t bed ridden
by any means but was slowing down, as is normal with age. In
early-February Baa was taken to the hospital because she was
experiencing heart problems. With Maa’s grace she passed through that
and came home. Maa kept in touch with Arunaben throughout Baa’s stay
at the hospital.
On Feb. 18th 2002 Maa left Ambaji for A’bad and on Her way to
Satyapath She payed a surprise visit to Arunaben’s place. At the time
Maa told Ba, “everyone has to go at some time…..are you ready to
leave?”. To which Baa replied “I am ready.”
Then on Feb. 22nd, Maa was leaving for Jaipur. Arunaben and Baa came
to Satyapath for satsang.
When Baa did pranam, Maa asked “are you ready to go?”
This time Baa said “I want to stay as long as Maa stays!”, to which
Maa laughed. (I have to say that Baa is very innocent and pure. She is
loving and I think that Maa sees her as a child.)
At the end of satsang Maa asked Baa to sing a bhajan, and as soon as
Baa finished the last line, her head dropped and she passed away.
That’s right, Baa passed away in Satyapath (Prabhuji’s home in A’bad)
and that too in the presence of Maa. How amazing is that? This has
never happened before and Maa said that it will never happen again. |
