Jai Krupalu MAA.
I am writing this to inform you about our
recent Cycle Yatra. I thought it will be of interest to you.
I just returned from the GREAT CYCLE YATRA
from Satyapath (Ahmedabad) to Swargarohan (Ambaji) covering approximate 185
kms. The yatra began on 25th Dec 2004 and ended on 28th Dec. We reached
Swargarohan on 28th Dec. at around 12:30 pm. MAA showered lots of blessing
during the yatra on all the participants. On last day, when we reached
Swargarohan, we were given a grand reception with tilak, bouquet, aarti,
Ganga jal spray, a certificate & a crown with our name on it. It was truly
an exceptional welcome. Whole Swargarohan was decorated with lights &
sathiya.
Without MAA's blessings it was simply
impossible for us to finish this yatra. MAA selected the Girls - most of us
had no experience of riding the bicycle for even 5 kms on regular basis. One
of us learned to ride the bicycle so that she could take part in the
yatra!!! Some of the girls were bit heavy in weights and it was very hard
for them to ride even 10 kms, but they also finished the yatra without much
problem. I too had many problems before the start of the yatra but I too
finished it without any problem. One participant from Surat was suffering
from high fever till the first day of the yatra but she also finished
without much problem. So I would call it a KRUPA YATRA.
Our Krupa Yatra was excellent in all respect.
The enthusiasm of all the participants was at its peak. As soon as one of us
becomes tired, MAA used to appear before us & give lots of 'dhabba'. pachhi
kayo kambhagi hoi ke ubho thai dodva na lage!!! We used to sing so many
dhoons, patriot songs & self made cycle yatra songs like "cycle mari sarrrrr
jai, om maa om maa karti jai" , "Kashto bhale padene, himmat na harnara...."
aato tame video juvo toj idea ave. Our "honsla" was "buland"!!! You will
definitely envy us on watching video of our yatra. The girls who could not
participate were just crying on watching our reception at the swargarohan or
the video of it. At times, MAA was just sitting on the road like our best
friend and involve in singing the songs & dhoon (albeit in maun!). On the
last day, when MAA came to give prasad, we used to say" ane... do... ane....do.....aaj
jalse ka aakhri din hai". Let's prey to MAA that we have similar chance in
future... at least once.... in this life time.
