Himalaya Amaro

It was a competition with a difference. On 26th January 2003 - the Republic Day of India, a competition of patriotic song was organized at Rajkot in the presence of Maa Sarveshwari. Students from 24 schools participated in the competition.

It is well known that Shri Yogeshwarji was an ardent lover of Mother India and during the days of freedom struggle prayed in the Himalayas for the emancipation of the Motherland from the clutches of British Rule. During those days, Yogeshwarji wrote many poems and patriotic songs. His one such book is entitled as "HIMALAYA AMARO". Isn't this competition a fitting tribute to Shri Yogeshwarji's love for the mother land?
