Sannidhi Parva
On 13th Nov, 2002 Maa completed 59th year and entered into 60th year. Devotees decided to celebrate it in a novel way. Maa was at Los Angeles on that day but devotees from Rajkot decided that whenever Maa arrives at Rajkot, 60 people will donate blood. When the day actually arrived, instead of 60, there were 160 people ready to donate blood! The Blood donation camp was given a very meaningful name - "Maa Sarveshwari Sannidhi Parva". It was indeed a novel way of associating oneself to one's revered. It is said in scriptures that even if we offer our body at the lotus feet of our Guru and in the bargain ask for the grace, its a cheap bargain. Here, it was a unique way of asking for the grace by the devotional symbolic offering of blood. Our salutations to all the donors! Following are the glimpse of the blood donation camp.
