Maa Sarveshwari’s mother Bhikhiben left for heavenly abode on 22nd March
1983. The same day, Maa along with Shri Yogeshwarji reached Kapura on their
return to India after completing almost 4 months of spiritual tour of South
Africa. At Maa Sarveshwari’s house daily prayers were held where Shri
Yogeshwarji delivered lecture on the topic of ‘AMAR JIVAN’ (which means
immortal life). This book is the text of those lectures.
Bhikhiben wholeheartedly supported & encouraged Maa Sarveshwari on her path
of spirituality. She had immense faith in Shri Yogeshwarji as the spiritual
master of Maa Sarveshwari. She told Yogeshwarji that ‘I have devoted my
Saroj (Maa Sarveshwari’s birth name) to you. Any mother in the world would
hesitate in devoting her beloved child. Such act requires extraordinary
understanding and pre-birth samskaras. Bhikhiben was an illumined soul and a
fortunate mother.
The lectures by Shri Yogeshwarji highlighted the fact that those who lead a
pious and honest life make their lives immortal. Death does not mean an end
to them. Their lives are immortal. They inspire others to lead such life
even after they leave their physical body. Everybody believes that Death is
not pious; it is something to be afraid of. Shri Yogeshwarji’s lectures &
hence this book ‘AMAR JIVAN’ gives new insight & a different perception of
looking at death and makes an interesting and thought provoking reading.
