‘Atma Ni Amrutvani’ contains collection of articles on varied subjects. In
the book, Yogeshwarji has expressed his ideas and thoughts on number of
subjects which fills the reader with a new insight.
There is one more benefit: The articles also answer questions or doubts in
reader’s mind. For example we often have questions like why saints fall sick
or have diseases. An article in the book entitled ‘Property Tax’ illustrate
the point wherein Yogeshwarji wrote that just as the house owner has to pay
property tax, the human body is also a house and we as an occupant have to
pay tax in the form of disease and old age. Moreover, one day we have to
vacate this house (physical body) .
What lesson should we learn from the natural elements like varasad (rain),
tadh (cold) and tap (heat)? What should we do at ‘sandhyakal’ (dawn) or
‘Brahmamuhurta’ (early morning)? What is the significance of festivals like
Ramnavami? What does the Sanskrit saying ‘Jivo Jivasya Jivanam’, ‘Dhramo
Rakshati Rakshitah’ or ‘Manah putam Samacharet’ mean? What we should learn
from the lives of great ones like Mahatma Gandhi, Maharshi Vyas and Maharshi
Dayanand? Articles in the book throw light on such topics.
It is not that the articles are only on spiritual or religious topics.
Rather, it covers topics as diverse as the importance of unity,
fearlessness, work, power of thoughts, Difference of opinion as well. There
are articles on Importance of Detachment, difference between ordinary people
and a saint, Mind of a Yogi, Types of knowledge etc too.
‘Atma Ni Amrutvani’ is a book with thought provoking articles and thus make
interesting reading.
