Gita, the great gospel is universally well-known. Philosophers and seekers of truth read it, study it, strive for understanding it and practice it in everyday life. The doctrines preached therein are appreciated by scholars and students of philosophy alike. Although it was compiled some thousand years back, its importance or charm has remained unabated. Modern man has to learn a lot from that sacred scripture for re-orienting his life towards the direction of peace and bliss.
