SAI SANGEET

Who was Sai Baba? Anyone hardly needs an introduction about the name of Sai Baba. Sai Baba made Shirdi as his karma-bhoomi (place of action) & helped innumerable devotees in and around Shirdi when he was alive. Later, His miracles and fame crossed the boundaries of time and place.

During 1952, Yogeshwarji also heard about Sai Baba and felt a special kind of attraction and adoration for him. The fascination for Sai Baba did not stop there. Yogeshwarji got innumerable spiritual experiences of Sai Baba which were ample proof of his amazing spiritual powers. Yogeshwarji also visited Shirdi many times and every time he was blessed by Sai Baba in one or other ways.

Those who have read Yogeshwarji’s life story know how intimate spiritual relations Yogeshwarji had with two extraordinary souls of his time – Sai Baba and Raman Maharshi. It is worthy to note here that Shri Yogeshwarji was called as ‘MAHATMA’ for the first time by Sai Baba in a remarkable experience. A detailed history of this and other such incidents depicting Sai Baba’s grace are illustrated in Yogeshwarji’s autobiography ‘Prakash Na Panthe’.

Being a good poet and writer, Yogeshwarji's love for Sai Baba manifested in the form of bhajans. ‘Sai Sangeet’ contains a collection of 105 such bhajans which includes Sai Baba’s Aarti & Stuti which has become very popular.
