‘Sat’ means good and ‘Sang’ means association or company. The word satsang
means holy or good association – it may be physically with a person, or a
book containing inspirational thoughts, incidents or quotes.
Usually examples or real life incidents touch the reader more then the dry
quotes or pages filled with bookish knowledge. With years of personal
spiritual experiences, travelogues to hundreds of places, meetings with
multifaceted people and reading of innumerable books behind him, Shri
Yogeshwarji is an ideal person to prepare such book. In addition, Shri
Yogeshwarji had immense insight in choosing the right kind of material
suitable to the test of spiritual readers. He wrote many such books;
‘Satsang’ is one of them with collection of inspirational incidents. It
contains 50 short inspirational articles.
Some of the incidents have been taken from ancient spiritual scriptures like
Geeta, Mahabharat, Shrimad Bhagvat while some have been taken from the lives
of great ones like Raman Maharshi, Ramkrishana Pramhansa, Swami Vivekanand,
Totapuri, Maharshi Dayanand, Guru Nanak, Meerabai etc. It also contains some
amazing experiences by Shri Yogeshwarji himself.
Irrespective of on whose life they are based or from which book they have
been taken, all the incidents are full of important messages. They guide
spiritual aspirant as well as ordinary readers on how to make their lives
sublime and on how to be a better human being.
