Shri Yogeshwarji

(15 August 1921 - 18 March 1984)

Shri Yogeshwarji

In association with saints and sages

Yogeshwarji's Himalayan stay became memorable due to his meeting with innumerable illuminated souls. Prominent among them were Maa Anandmayee, a highly revered woman saint of present time at Solan; the Mahatma of Chel, who was known for his numinous powers and lots of people used to flock for his darshan for fulfilling their wishes; Swami Kulanand at Badrinath who reiterated to Yogeshwarji the information about his previous births and Nepali Baba. Nepali Baba usually never meet anyone, but his Lama Guru appeared and told Nepali Baba to meet Yogeshwarji. Nepali Baba reveled mystic facts about his Lama Guru. Nepali Baba himself possessed supernatural powers and successfully demonstrated on Yogeshwarji the use of a rare herb to enter into the samadhi.

Yogeshwarji was blessed with the divine vision of extremely revered and mythological figures like Hanumanji and Devarshi Naradji during meditation. In 1947 when Yogeshwarji again visited Dashrathachal, Tailang Swami - a Bengali Mahatma appeared before him during meditation. Tailang Swami had lived at Dashrathachal for about six months and had taken mahasamadhi at a place near Devprayag.

Yogeshwarji went to Alandi, the holy place of Saint Gyaneshwar where the priest of the temple welcomed him with a garland. A stranger led him to Gyaneshwar's samadhi place, the same place he saw at Devprayag during meditation.

When Champakbhai fell ill, he was admitted at Dharampur Sanatorium, Simla for the treatment of TB. Champakbhai had immense faith in Yogeshwarji so Champakbhai called him. Yogeshwarji's affectionate prayers worked wonders and Champakbhai was cured.

From Shri Yogeshwarji's autobiography

“Doctors had candidly told Champakbhai that there was no possibility of curing his disease, so he had given up hope of his survival. I had no power for any miracle, yet I reassured him that by God's grace his TB would be cured, his blood report would be normal and doctors would be compelled to change their report after 15 days. Every night I sat near his head and moved my hand over his body. I used to pray so fervently that tears would start tricking down. After 15 days to both of our joy, great improvement was reported. The doctors couldn't believe that."

-------

"It was 4th June 1947 when I was at Badrinath. After attending to my daily routine I sat for meditation when I had the darshan of Lord Narayan. I had another memorable experience. Enriched with extraordinary beauty, 19 maidens of same age garlanded me one by one. I had an intuition that they were none other than Riddhi-Siddhi as well as Ashta Siddhi and Navnidhi. I was blessed in the subtle world by the motiveless grace of God."

-------

" It is my perception that even today, self-magnanimous, supreme and righteous souls does appear before sadhakas for their well-being and help them according to their need. They definitely exist in a more subtle and imperceptible world then the gross materialistic world we live in. The experience of siddhas is only possible by their grace and favor. With such experiences, new vistas of self-experience start unfolding and one become enriched with renewed faith and devotion."
