1941 marked Shri Yogeshwarji's first entry into Himalayas - a land which was to be his place of action for the next two decades.

In spite of being the only son of a widow mother and in the prime of his life, Yogeshwarji departed for serious spiritual achievements into the holy Himalayas. Foremost among his dwelling places during initial days were Rishikesh and DevPrayag.
